Preparation
- Place the water into a pot and bring it to a boil.
- While your water is boiling, grate the garlic, ginger, and horseradish using a microplane grater. Put them in a medium bowl with the other ingredients, stirring to mix well.
- Once the water is steaming, scoop out half a cup and combine it with the mixture in the bowl. Whisk until smooth and free from clumps of miso.
- Pour the mixture into the pot and remove it from the heat. Stir it well and serve.
Notes
Enjoy warm in a bowl or mug. Add black pepper or fresh herbs for more flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days, or freeze for longer storage.
