Preparation
  1. Peel bananas and slice them evenly about ⅛-inch thick.
  2. Mix lemon juice and water in a small bowl.
  3. Lightly dip banana slices in lemon water to prevent browning.
  4. Lightly grease the basket of the air fryer or use a liner for easy cleanup.
Cooking
  1. Place banana slices in a single layer, ensuring they do not overlap.
  2. Sprinkle with cinnamon or salt if desired.
  3. Cook at 350°F (175°C) for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  4. Continue cooking in 1–2 minute intervals if needed until crisps are fully cooked.
  5. Let chips cool completely to achieve maximum crispness.

Notes

Store banana chips in an airtight container for up to a week at room temperature. For longer storage, refrigerate but note that this may affect crispness.
