- Wash and dry the mixed greens thoroughly. Place them in a large mixing bowl.
- Thinly slice the apples and toss them lightly with lemon juice to prevent browning.
- Toast pecans in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 3–5 minutes until fragrant.
Assembly
- Add the sliced apples, cranberries, and toasted pecans to the bowl of greens.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the dressing ingredients until emulsified.
- Drizzle the dressing over the salad just before serving. Garnish with crumbled feta or goat cheese if desired.
Notes
Serve chilled or at room temperature. Store leftovers with dressing separate for best results.
