Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
  • 3/4 cup milk
Fruits
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries Fresh blueberries provide the best flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  3. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the milk until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the blueberries.
  6. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead lightly.
  7. Roll or pat the dough to about 1-inch thickness and cut out biscuits.
  8. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

Serve warm with whipped cream, butter, honey, or syrup. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days or freeze for longer storage. Remember to use fresh blueberries or frozen without thawing.
