  • 1 lb ground chicken Lean protein source
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage Adds crunch and nutrients
  • 1 cup shredded carrots Provides color and sweetness
  • 3 pieces green onions, sliced For garnish and flavor
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced For seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce For umami flavor
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil For a nutty flavor

  • as needed Cooked rice or cauliflower rice Optional for serving

Method
 

Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the ground chicken and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  4. Stir in the shredded cabbage, carrots, and green onions.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  6. Cook for another 5-7 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
  7. Serve over cooked rice or cauliflower rice if desired.

Notes

To store leftovers, keep them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat thoroughly before serving.
