Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Stir in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In another bowl, mix the brown sugar and hot water, then pour it over the batter without stirring.
Baking
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is set and the center remains gooey.
Serving
- Serve warm, possibly with a scoop of ice cream on top.
Notes
Store leftover cobbler in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the microwave for about 20-30 seconds.
