  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons chili sauce adjust for heat
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh green onions, for garnishing
  • Optional: sliced jalapeños, for an extra kick

Method

Preparation
  1. Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces for even cooking.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, chili sauce, lime juice, minced garlic, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir until well blended and set aside.
Cooking
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, add a little oil. Place the chicken pieces in the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 5–7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  2. Once the chicken is cooked, reduce the heat to low. Pour the sauce over the chicken and stir until the chicken is thoroughly coated.
  3. Let the chicken and sauce heat together for an additional 2-3 minutes to meld the flavors.
  4. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and optional jalapeños for added spice.
  5. Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy warm.

Notes

For added flavor, marinate the chicken in the sauce for at least 30 minutes before cooking. Adjust the level of chili sauce based on your heat preference. Experiment with different herbs and spices to customize the flavor profile.
