Ingredients
  

For the Lahmacun Filling
  • 1 lb ground beef or lamb Use ground beef or lamb as preferred.
  • 1 small onion, finely minced
  • 1 medium tomato, finely chopped or pulsed
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh mint, chopped (optional) Optional for added flavor.
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp chili flakes Adjust for spice preference.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
For the Base
  • 12–16 small flatbread rounds (or rolled dough circles, 3–4 inches wide)
For the Drizzle
  • ½ cup plain yogurt For drizzling.
  • Extra parsley or mint for garnish Optional for garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Roll out small rounds of flatbread or dough, about 3–4 inches wide.
  2. In a bowl, combine ground meat, onion, tomato, parsley, mint (if using), lemon juice, and spices. Mix well until all ingredients are incorporated.
Baking
  1. Thinly spread the topping over each dough round, ensuring even coverage.
  2. Place the prepared lahmacun bites on a baking sheet and bake at 425°F (220°C) for 8–10 minutes, or until they are crisp and cooked through.
  3. Drizzle with yogurt and garnish with extra herbs.
Serving
  1. Enjoy warm as appetizers or snacks.

Notes

To store leftovers, let lahmacun bites cool down completely before transferring to an airtight container. Refrigerate for up to 3 days. Reheat in an oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5–7 minutes to maintain crispness. Adjust spices to personal preference for desired heat.
