Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until they turn brown, about 7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the shredded cabbage, diced tomatoes (with juice), cooked rice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir these ingredients well.
- Let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes to blend the flavors.
Baking
- Transfer the mixture to the greased baking dish, spreading it evenly across the bottom.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30-35 minutes until the cabbage becomes tender.
- Allow it to rest for 5 minutes before serving warm.
Notes
You can customize the recipe by adding bell peppers or cheese. It can also be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator.
